While most people focus on the invasion currently taking place on the southern border, America's northern border is also under attack.
According to recent reports, illegal border crossers are drawn to the northern border because they know there are far fewer security personnel and Border Patrol agents.
This story doesn't get as much media attention as the southern border, but it's no less important.

Illegal border crossings have surged at the U.S.-Canada border in New York, New Hampshire and Vermont, as migrants take advantage of “staff shortages” and other conditions, according to a report by the New York Post.
Reportedly, more than 12,200 immigrants were apprehended crossing the border illegally from Canada last year. In the previous year, 3,578 people were arrested…

The data shows that much of the illegal crossings — about 70% — occurred along the 295-mile Swanton Strip, which includes upstate New York, New Hampshire and Vermont.
Migrants who arrive in Mexico and can afford a $350 round-trip plane ticket from Mexico City or Cancun to Montreal or Toronto make their way south to cross the northern U.S. border — where they are less likely to be turned away, experts say. Those who crossed the southern border.
The United States' border with Canada is much longer than its border with Mexico, and ports of entry are often understaffed as CBP focuses on increasing migration at the southern border.
