One person was killed and up to 10 people were injured after a driver crashed his vehicle into a hospital emergency room in Austin, Texas.

According to reports, the driver died. Police said the incident did not appear to be intentional.
As many as 49 patients were affected by the incident.
Two children were seriously injured and were taken to Dell Children's Hospital, police said.
BREAKING: Austin officials believe the crash at St. David's Medical Center North Austin in St. David's that injured 10-12 people appears to be an accident, with the driver of the vehicle driving to the emergency room. There are no signs of foul play, a senior city official says tentatively.

The Austin American-Statesman reported:
At least one person was killed and four people were injured after a car crashed into the emergency room at St. David's North Austin Medical Center in North Austin Tuesday evening, first responders said.
Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services said in a Facebook post that the accident occurred at 5:38 p.m. The driver struck the north entrance to the emergency room.
The Austin Police Department said in a post on X. The incident does not appear to be intentional. The investigation is still ongoing.
Lt. Cary Chaudoir of the Austin Police Department told the Statesman that the driver of the vehicle died, but it was not clear whether the accident caused the person's death.
Chaudoir said that four people were injured, two of them children. They are all stable.
