My late father was under the impression that he and my stepmother had an irrevocable trust. He was wrong. He died in September and now we learn it's actually a revocable trust. It was a mistake. My stepmother is letting her son handle things for her, and I talked her into changing the trust so he would get everything when she died, so he could help care for her sister who has mental health issues.
