Joe Rogan, host of the podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience,” and Aaron Rodgers, current quarterback for the New York Jets, engaged in a very lively conversation on an episode last week. They cover a lot of ground.
This included the necessity of Jesus returning to earth. Rogan identified the lack of order that secular society has imposed on humanity as a large part of the downward spiral we experience today.
He expressed how humanity needs guidelines to thrive. Christianity provides these necessary guidelines, in contrast to woke ideology and ego-centered thinking.

Rogan is very smart. He is also practical and humble. He doesn't pretend to be something he isn't. He also makes no apologies for his opinions. His pure observation and clear conclusion led him to believe that we need Jesus now, and many agree.
“Like if he came back now, it would be great,” Rogan said. “Jesus, if you're thinking about coming back, now's the time. Now's the time. We're kinda s***.”
Rogan explained how people can easily be led by evil forces and forms when they do not have the divine spirit to guide them. He highlighted how humans can descend into depravity when left to their own devices, pointing out the broken moral compasses of some soldiers who engage in the bloodshed and brutality of war, and then fail to successfully reintegrate into society.
We need Jesus, of course, not just to comfort veterans but to heal the moral decay that is destroying society. Inflated thinking makes our problems worse.
Just look at the inflated egos of many in our government, and then add up where we are as a nation. Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, and Anthony Fauci are all very smart. But do they help?
There is no doubt that power, greed and control stand in the way of a real solution. Nothing that humanity would create without Jesus could solve the fundamental problem, simply because his absence is in fact the case He is The basic issue.
Rodgers suggested that many believe Jesus will return soon. Rogan left a comment to suggest that this may actually be the reason for the madness we are experiencing around the world today – sinking into darkness and uncertainty is a way to get people to wake up to our need for Jesus in our lives.
“Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth: I did not come to bring peace, but a sword” (Matthew 10:34).
As Rogan pointed out, this wouldn't be the first time God has allowed our world to fall into darkness to prove his point.
God always provides guidance to the lost. Moses received the Ten Commandments for Israel while she was wandering after escaping slavery in Egypt.
It is a topic Rogan brought up in the discussion, citing the hope for a positive outcome at all other times. God was not casting us out per se, but simply asking us to get straight, in Rogan's view.
Rodgers agreed. He added that he is not satisfied with the belief that our time on Earth did not come without a greater purpose.
Admittedly, neither man claims to be a Christian. But no one is drawn into such a short-sighted and narrow-minded worldview that he accepts the answers without first questioning them himself. They have not been indoctrinated or awakened.
This is why so many leftist and establishment media outlets hate Joe Rogan. He thinks for himself. Now he believes the world needs Jesus…before the 2024 election, too.
Since many Christians believe that the Bible is as much a prescription for the future as a historical record, we now see how well—and to what extent—we do without it.
It's time to bring it back and, at the same time, invite Jesus through the door as well.
