MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) – We are tracking a low threat of severe storms Sunday afternoon/evening and Monday morning.

    summary
A warm front centered to our north and a slow-moving cold front to our west will create a warm and humid environment on Sunday. There is a high level of uncertainty regarding this threat. If these factors combine, storms forming Sunday afternoon and evening could pose a serious threat.

    timing
There will be some rain on Sunday morning, but the best chance for storms will come after 2pm and last until 8pm. Another batch of storms will come in early Monday morning ahead of the cold front.

    Risks
Any storms that are able to organize and become severe will pose a threat of isolated damaging wind gusts. A short tornado cannot be ruled out.

    what should be done
Plan for scattered showers and a few storms in anticipation of Joe Cain Day parades and events. Monitor the weather throughout the day.
