Rick Harrison, of “Pawn Stars” fame, spoke out this week to praise and “amazing” Donald Trump while criticizing President Joe Biden's border policies after his son died of a fentanyl overdose last month at the age of 39.
Harrison praises Trump — and rips Biden's policies
Harrison, 58, praised Trump for meeting with him after his son's death and criticized politicians today for being “complicit” in the fentanyl deaths that have tragically ravaged our nation.
“He's a wonderful person,” Harrison told Fox News of Trump. “He wants to do something about it. There's a lot of different places you have to start, all at once, but one of the most important is to get the damn stuff out of the country and stop making it so cheap to get high.”
He continued: “My understanding is that buying a fentanyl pill is equivalent to $5.” “Anyone can afford it. I mean, make it difficult. Let's start arresting the people who sell it, arrest the people who move it across the border, close the borders, make it really expensive. Let's make fentanyl deaths rare.”
“It's crazy that they allow this to happen,” Harrison added of politicians. “They literally let this happen. They don't do anything about it. So they are complicit in all these deaths.”

Harrison criticizes Biden's “ridiculous” border policies
Although Harrison never mentioned Biden by name, he was quick to criticize the current president's “absolutely ridiculous” border policies, calling out his administration's inaction to prevent drugs from entering the United States.
“Nothing was done about it,” lamented Harrison. “It's the equivalent of a 737 [airplane] Loaded with passengers, they crash every day. That's how many people die from it. And you know, politicians don't want to talk about it. “The news doesn’t want to talk about it.”
“A big part of it is politics,” he added. “I mean we know where all this is coming from. It's all coming across the border, and they're not going to do anything about it. I mean they're not doing anything.”
Harrison concluded by attacking Biden's federal government, which is currently trying to wage war in court with Texas over the state's border enforcement efforts.
“Literally, we have a government suing the state saying, ‘No, you can't prevent large numbers of people from coming into this country,'” he said. “We don't know what they're holding on them. We don't know what kind of people they are. It's crazy. “I mean we just need common sense.”
“I think any drug dealer who sells fentanyl, I mean, should at least face manslaughter charges,” he said. “Just selling stuff should be tantamount to attempted murder. I mean it's that bad and nothing's been done about it.”
As for what action Harrison wants to take, he called on the government to “close the borders” and end left-wing “no bail” rules with tougher penalties for selling or possessing fentanyl.

Harrison's son dies
Harrison's son, Adam, who was not involved in “Pawn Stars,” was found dead Jan. 19 at a Las Vegas-area guest house. Police found Adam dead in bed with “two vials of a camouflage substance next to the mattress,” as well as “foils containing an unknown pill, lighters and drug paraphernalia.”
Harrison said the investigation into his son's death is ongoing, and that he had struggled with drug and alcohol abuse for some time.
“Over the years, I put him in rehab several times,” he recalls. “The best way to put it is with opioids and fentanyl — Satan invented a drug. This is what it will be. I mean it literally changes them into a different person. You don't even know.”
We applaud Harrison for courageously speaking out about Biden and the President's border policies that are putting the lives of millions of Americans at risk. Please join us in saying a prayer for Harrison and the rest of his family as they continue to mourn the loss of Adam.
