Musk also claims to have obtained some documents from Disney about its inclusion rules, which he posted through his personal X. Misk concluded by adding,
“No wonder most of the content produced over the last several years has been bad. Just trying to navigate the DEI minefield will crush the creative process!”
What did Elon Musk tweet about Disney?
Elon Musk claims to have been given a copy of Disney's inclusion standards document with several pointers to the company's selection procedures with guidelines such as underrepresented groups should be a significant part of episodic themes and narratives.
Musk went on to state that there was more to this and dropped two more sets of images depicting the “unfair” rules set by Disney, which Musk claimed reduced his creative flow.
Musk concluded his anti-Disney stance by adding in the final tweet that these laws were an important reason for Disney's alleged fall from grace.
Some fans supported these comments, as evident from the comments section of the billionaire's tweet, and some even asked Elon Musk to buy Disney and start over with a better vision.
This movement started with the launch of Gina Carano from The Mandalorian Following the actress' alleged right-wing comment in which she compared being a Republican to being Jewish during the Nazi period. This received widespread backlash, but Carano sued Disney for wrongful termination.
Musk announced last year that he and his company were willing to fund lawsuits brought by employers fired by employers in response to opinions expressed on their platform.
With Elon Musk's recent comments and accusations against Disney's alleged inclusivity laws, it appears that the Gina Carano case has taken a more severe turn.
