In an interview with Alex Michaelson on The issue is presentationNeoconservative Nikki Haley publicly denounced the Nevada primary process, calling it a “scam” and asserting that it was “rigged from the beginning” in favor of former President Donald Trump.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported that perhaps the most embarrassing moment of Nikki Haley's entire political career happened Tuesday night in the Nevada primary, and President Trump wasn't even on the ballot.
Despite being the only major candidate on the ballot, Haley was defeated in a landslide, with many voters choosing “none of these candidates” over her.
Trump, reacting to Haley's defeat on Truth Social, predicted she would claim victory despite the results. He expects a more positive outcome in the Nevada primary, where he is expected to secure all 26 delegates.
“Bad night for Nikki Haley. Losing by nearly 30 points in Nevada to “none of these candidates.” Watch, you'll be claiming victory soon! Trump wrote.
After her defeat, Haley moved her campaign efforts to California, where she met with voters in Costa Mesa and addressed the results of the Nevada primary.
In her conversation with FOX 11's Alex Michaelson, Haley, who will not appear on the caucus ballot, dismissed the Nevada primary as a “scam” orchestrated by President Trump and criticized the GOP chairman's actions leading up to the caucus format.
Alex Michaelson: “Is this situation in Nevada a little painful?”
Nikki Haley: “No. I mean, Nevada, it's a scam. They were supposed to have a primary. Trump rigged it so that the chairman of the Republican Party, who was indicted, could go and form a caucus.”
Nikki Haley: “We knew for months that we weren't going to spend a day or a dollar in Nevada because it wasn't worth it. And so, we didn't even count Nevada. This wasn't anything we were looking at. We knew it was rigged from the beginning. Our focus is on South Carolina, Michigan and Super Tuesday.”
Nikki Haley: “So, if you look at what we did in Iowa and you look at what we did in New Hampshire, we're continuing to grow. I think that's what matters more than anything else. But look at what happened this week. And here, Republicans lost a vote “Big on the border. Republicans lost a big vote on Israel.”
Nikki Haley: “It turns out that Donald Trump will not have immunity in all of these court cases. After that, the RNC chair is evicted. All this chaos is happening around us, and Donald Trump's fingerprints are all over it. We as a Republican Party cannot continue to move forward with this mess. You can't beat Democratic chaos with Republican chaos. That's why we have to see change.”
