Molly Hemingway Federal She testified before Congress this week, laying out what she sees as the biggest problems with elections in America.
She emphasized the ballot system, extended voting time periods, efforts by Democrats to court competition, our one-sided media, and, more than that, comparing our current elections to what happened in the former Soviet Union.
At the end of her testimony, she criticized Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook for interfering in the election.
The feds have the details:
Mail-in ballots, private election takeovers through “Zuckerbucks,” censorship of Big Tech, and interference by Democrats are the biggest ways America's “system of self-government is under attack,” Federalist editor-in-chief and best-selling author Molly Hemingway said. she warned in her testimony before the House Administration Committee.
“We have allowed the private takeover of government election offices by partisan oligarchs and their armies of activists who use those offices and their powers to tip the election in favor of favored candidates,” she said.
“The situation is so absurd that we are holding presidential and gubernatorial debates weeks after some people have already voted,” Hemingway noted.
Hemingway said mail-in voting, specifically, forces the core of voting to begin months before Election Day.
“Instead of providing complete security and a verifiable chain of control for the issuance, casting, and counting of ballots, we flooded addresses across the country with tens of millions of unsupervised mail-in ballots months before the election, repeatedly to the locations where voters exited,” she explained. : “They are even alive, and have long since moved on, instead of having a non-partisan and strictly neutral electoral administration under the law.”
