With one storm gone from the area… the next storm moves in!

Today: Scattered rain is expected at the beginning of the day as the storm moves slowly towards the east. High temperatures will reach around 55 degrees in Las Vegas with breezes blowing from the southwest at 10-15 mph with wind gusts up to 30 mph.

Air quality is rated as 'good' and pollen levels are low.

Tonight: Skies will become cloudy again tonight as the next storm approaches. Rain chances will be possible late this evening and overnight with flakes possible on the hillsides. Low temperatures in the valley will drop to around 40 degrees with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s on the outskirts of town. Wind gusts up to 35 mph will be possible as the second storm moves in overnight.

Your Day 7: The snow level is expected to drop to about 3,500 feet to 4,000 feet by Friday but there won't be as much moisture associated with this next system. Other disturbances will move through the area resulting in a slight chance of rain on Friday with the best odds in areas north and east of Las Vegas. Breezes will pick up a bit Saturday from the north/northwest at 10-15 mph with wind gusts around 25 mph.

The weather is expected to be much calmer on Super Bowl Sunday with Valley temperatures in the mid-50s at kickoff.

A high pressure build-up next week will bring temperatures into the Valley with highs in the mid to upper 50s through Tuesday. Following the 7-day forecast, high temperatures will climb into the low 60s next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday under sunny to partly cloudy skies.

Check back for more updates and make it a great day!
