Fairly widespread rainfall is expected in Arunachal Pradesh and isolated rainfall is expected in the Himalayan region of West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura on February 7.
A cyclonic circulation is possible over central India, bringing scattered showers with localized thunderstorms this weekend.
Under the influence of the depression over peninsular India, there is likely to be scattered light rainfall activity over northern peninsular India from February 9 to 11.
Strong surface winds are likely to blow at a speed of between 15 and 25 km per hour over the plains of northwestern India.
Dense fog conditions are expected in isolated pockets in the Western Himalayan region, northeastern region and central region this morning.
The northern plains are likely to see cooler maximum temperatures over the next few days. Overnight minimums could be slightly cooler than normal across Delhi and NCT on Thursday and Friday.
