CNN is once again revamping its morning lineup, hoping someone will notice its channel and actually watch it.
This is unlikely. CNN's problem goes far beyond deciding which Democratic activists will host their morning shows. Their problem is a lack of trust from viewers who know they've been spoiled too many times.
The network has changed leaders twice in the past two years, and any time someone wants to make a real change in the network, the staff revolts and gets rid of them.

CNN is revamping its morning programming lineup with the latest changes
CNN is making big changes to its weekday morning programming as part of the latest shake-up at the news giant.
“CNN This Morning,” the network’s current morning show hosted by Poppy Harlow and Phil Mattingly, will be canceled while the network holds discussions with anchors about new roles at the company.
Political pundit and host Cassie Hunt will anchor an additional early morning hour, broadcast from 5 to 7 a.m. starting later this month.
At 7 a.m., John Berman, Kate Bolduan and Sarah Sidner will host a new edition of “CNN News Central” until 10 a.m.
Jim Acosta, a former White House correspondent, will host a show at 10 a.m., while 11 a.m. will be home to “Bulletin with Pamela Brown,” which will launch in the spring, once Brown returns from paternity leave.
The big change to CNN's morning lineup represents the most sweeping change implemented by new CEO Mark Thompson, who took over as the company's leader in August.
