The events that unfolded inside the TCF Center in Detroit, Michigan, during the highly contentious 2020 election left GOP poll contenders feeling numb, as if they had just emerged from the battlefield in a Third World country.
As horrific events unfolded inside the basement of the massive event center, The Gateway Pundit was at the forefront of providing cutting-edge news that would shock the world. At lunchtime, the chief election official announced into the counting room over the loudspeaker, suggesting that ballot contenders take a break and go to lunch while they “prepare” their “military” ballots. Oddly enough, the Democratic contenders and agitators working in the room knew enough not to leave the room and eat lunch inside the counting room. It's as if they knew Republicans would be shut out. Once out of the counting room, election officials began closing the main doors to the counting room. They even violated fire safety law by placing heavy-duty chains around the main entrance door handles to ensure Republican challengers didn't get the chance to go back inside to watch the “military” vote counting. Even the doors leading out of the TCF Center were locked, preventing anyone from entering or exiting the main building from the public entrances.
Well, I'm a contender in the election, and I'm not allowed in the building for work. At some point, they kicked everyone out of the room and put up cardboard so no one could see inside. This is downtown Detroit at the TCF Center, formerly Cobo Hall. pic.twitter.com/4pTKnlo4Wb

Once a large majority of GOP poll contenders left the counting room, moderators began closing the doors, citing Covid as the reason. Inside, Democratic challengers, labor and left-wing agitators laughed as GOP challengers demanded to be allowed back into the chamber to exercise their constitutionally protected right to watch the vote count. A Detroit SWAT team was called in to keep ballot contenders away from already boarded-up windows, and police and elections officials closely guarded all exits. I can attest to all of these things that happened because I was there; I was one of the GOP poll challengers who fought their way through the doors while they were closed.

Inside the counting room, trained workers who were well paid for their efforts worked with Democratic ballot challengers and agitators to cover the lobby windows with cardboard pizza boxes, removing any opportunity for GOP ballot challengers to watch from the outside. Inside, with more than 130 tables where tens of thousands of ballots were about to be processed, fewer than 40 GOP challengers remained. Inside the counting room, animosity between paid election workers who appeared to be working in partnership with Democratic agitators, election challengers, and Republican election challengers reached a fever pitch.
Men and women dressed from head to toe in black, who were being paid to “supervise” the election, shouted across the room as they summoned Detroit police officers to a specific location and demanded they remove election challengers. They didn't need an excuse or an explanation; If election workers wanted them out, Detroit police officers would escort them out of the room. If GOP ballot challengers refused to accept abusive behavior by poll workers or poll workers refused their requests to record legitimate vote challenges, a police officer would be called to the table, and the challenger would be removed. Every time another Republican election challenger was removed, the crowd of Democratic election workers, challengers and agitators would jump to their feet and explode with applause.
Throughout the day, paid poll workers, left-wing agitators, and rivals repeatedly shouted, “Stand back!” and “You're so close!” and “Six feet!” or “Raise your mask!” at GOP poll challengers, hoping to wear them down as their numbers dwindle.
There were many champions within that room — none of them Democrats — and none of them paid staff or Wayne County Elections Department-appointed employees. Hema Kulangireddy was one of the unlikely heroes in that room. Despite near-impossible working conditions created by hostile election workers, outside agitators, and Democratic election challengers, Hema soon discovered that her skin color would provide a significant advantage when it came to defending her fellow GOP poll workers.
The MI Republican Party, whose mismanagement and inability to protect the vote in 2020 from mass voter fraud, ultimately led to the nightmare at the TCF Center.
After tens of thousands of absentee ballots were reported unloaded early in the morning the day after the election in the back lobby of the TCF Center, the Gateway expert feared that MIGOP and the RNC would ignore the same people who risked everything to protect the vote, so they hired a private investigator to travel to Michigan, where He worked with a lawyer and notary to videotape their stories. While many of the stories of people who had never met before were similar or very similar, one story in particular stood out: that of Hema Kulanagireddy.
Hema Kulangireddy is a mother of three beautiful children. Her eldest son is a 23-year-old medical student and second lieutenant in the US Air Force. Her second son is 19 years old and also a medical student. Her youngest daughter is 17 and was recently selected for the Air National Guard. Hema is the successful owner of an IT recruitment company with over 700 employees. She became a US citizen when she married in 1999.
Hema Kulanagireddy bravely sat before the MI House Oversight Committee with Rudy Giuliani sitting next to her. She explained the atrocities she witnessed while trying to protect the sanctity of voting. The video of her testimony was so moving that it went viral and was viewed by millions.
Hema is the Republican Party Chairwoman for Michigan's 6th District. She is also running to become a committee member for the Republican National Committee, where, if elected by MI delegates, she will focus on issues of election integrity and bringing immigrants and minorities into the Republican Party. I spoke briefly with Hema, who is very intelligent and passionate about growing the party. She doesn't understand why Republicans don't wait outside the courthouses where immigrants are sworn in as American citizens to register them to vote and explain how Republicans are the party that will fight to preserve and protect our freedoms. She recently hosted an event where she invited 130 Democrats. As they left the event, all but one said they would vote Republican in the future.
Hema explained how, as a curious child, she began questioning her Hindu faith when she was younger, and at the age of 16, she said she “received a visit from God,” which is when she said she became a “born again Christian.” She is very pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment, and is not afraid to stand up for her beliefs. She is a big believer in venturing into areas outside your party's typical echo chambers. According to Hema, most Indians are Democrats, but once they listen to her message, they realize that they are more in line with the Republican Party.
Hema also courageously testified before the Senate Oversight Committee, where she explained how everyone assumed she was a Democrat because of the color of her skin.
Hema will be running for one of two RNC committee member positions that are up for grabs this year. The GOP delegate vote in MI will elect one woman and one man. Current RNC committee member Dr. Rob Steele, who has been loyal to RNC Chair Ronna Romney McDaniel, is running for re-election. Another current RNC committee member, Cathy Bearden, no longer lives in Michigan. Bernadette Smith is a beautiful person who is passionate about her Christian faith. She is also running for this position, but unfortunately she has not proven that she is not a fighter for election integrity. Pastor Ralph Rebrandt is also a very nice guy and was a contender in the TCF polls but has not testified before Congress. Rebrandt ran unsuccessfully for governor of Michigan in the Republican primary in 2022. Linda Lee Tarver, a longtime Republican, has been outspoken about election fraud in Michigan and is passionate about the Republican Party. She will also look to secure a seat at the table with the Republican National Committee. So far, the only candidate who has a real plan to grow and expand the Republican Party by focusing on immigrants and minorities and who also has a proven track record as a campaigner for election integrity is Hema Kulanagireddy.
We hope Michigan delegates elect someone who not only speaks out about the importance of election integrity but has a proven track record of fighting to expose our broken elections and will make fixing our broken elections a top priority if elected as the next RNC committeeman.
