Donald Trump Jr., the former president's son, criticized Senate Republicans after details were released in a “bipartisan agreement” on the $118 billion Senate immigration bill that provides a massive amount of money to foreign countries rather than to the U.S. border.
Trump took to social media last week To warn the world that the Senate bill was an attempt to “sneak mass amnesty for illegals” into legislation.
“Don't fall for the last border bait and stay out of the swamp,” he said. “This so-called ‘border security’ bill is just another step toward amnesty and the distribution of more endless dollars to Ukraine.”
And that was it before Details of the draft law have begun to be published.

Trump Jr. is not a fan of the $118 billion Senate bill
President Trump's son once again took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to criticize Senate Republicans for following the lead of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on the $118 billion bill.
“Why do Senate Republicans continue to allow themselves to be led by a mentally ill pro-amnesty turtle?” Asked.
In fact, Democrats cited McConnell as an important player in approving the Senate's $118 billion “security” bill.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) praised McConnell for his hard work in preparing the bill.
“Frankly, I have never worked as closely with Leader McConnell on any legislation as we have on this,” he said. “We both understood the seriousness of the situation and how important traffic was to the United States and the world.”

What is the problem?
Some will wonder why Trump Jr. is so angry about a $118 billion bill that allocates $20 billion to border security. Admittedly, this is a larger sum to protect America's borders than we are accustomed to seeing.
The problem is where all the other taxpayer money is being sent. Reuters reported on the distribution of funds which includes:
- $60.06 billion to Ukraine.
- $14.1 billion to Israel.
- $2.4 billion to assist military operations in the Red Sea.
- $1.9 billion for munitions supplied to Taiwan.
This equates to approximately $78.5 billion for foreign operations compared to $20 billion for border security. 66% for foreign countries and wars, and 17% for our war against invasion at home.
If you need proof that this bill isn't as great as they want you to believe, just look at these headlines repeated by the media that either cite border security first and foremost, or sometimes even, like Just Mention them in their titles.
If the media thinks it's a good deal for the border and negatively mentions Ukraine and Israel, it's not a good deal for the border and the main focus is Ukraine and Israel.
Some might argue that the $118 billion Senate bill at least includes border security at all. House Republicans offered a $17.6 billion aid package for Israel that does not include funding for Ukraine or borders.
Why don't we prepare separate bills for the borders themselves instead of Israel or Ukraine? Republicans need not compromise by providing aid to all these other countries; they could simply convince Democrats to go on record as supporting an invasion on the southern border.
