The “We the People: Reclaim Our Borders” caravan, an important movement calling for stricter border controls in the United States, reached its final destination along the US-Mexico border on Friday evening.
After a cross-country trip that began in Virginia Beach, Virginia, the caravan is scheduled to conclude with marches in three border states: California, Arizona and Texas, on Saturday.
The multi-day event, which draws participants from across the country, including the East and West coasts, aims to highlight concerns about border security and immigration policy in the United States under the Biden regime.
“We call on all law enforcement officers, active and retired military, veterans, Mama Bears, elected officials, business owners, ranchers, truckers, motorcyclists, the media, and law-abiding, freedom-loving Americans. Despite facing censorship challenges, particularly with Facebook removing event ads, perhaps due to algorithmic filtering and rumors that this would be another FBI trap, the movement has seen a rise in support. Anson Bales, a prominent figure in border-related activities in Texas and the main organizer of the event, revealed that they expect more than 10,000 individuals to participate.
“The level of support we have received is overwhelming. People from all walks of life are joining us, not only from within the United States but from our neighbors in Canada as well,” Bales commented.
Bills expressed frustration with social media barriers but remained optimistic about turnout. “I've had a lot of phone calls in the last week with people saying, 'Well, I've never heard of this before.' Why isn't this spread everywhere? “We're spreading it everywhere,” Bales said in an interview with The Gateway Pundit.
The caravan passed through multiple states, aiming to host parades in California, Arizona and Texas. As participants arrived at the border on Friday evening, the atmosphere was tense with anticipation for the final rally to be held in Eagle Pass (Quemado), Texas.
