Kamala Harris and second best man Doug Emhoff took an unscheduled trip to Delaware on Saturday morning, according to freelance reporter Andrew Liden. Joe Biden spent Friday night in Delaware after attending a gracious transfer ceremony held in Dover for the three soldiers killed in Jordan last Sunday. Biden is scheduled to travel to California on Saturday afternoon.
Kamala Harris was in South Carolina on Friday, campaigning ahead of the state's Democratic presidential primary.
Leiden posted photos of Harris and Emhoff aboard Marine Two on Saturday morning, followed by a photo of the flight tracking of Air Force Two taking off from Joint Base Andrews, “@VP and SecondGentleman departed on Marine Two this morning on an unscheduled daytime flight. Location to be announced within hours “A few.”

A few minutes later, Leiden posted that Air Force One 2 was heading toward Wilmington, Delaware.

After the ceremony, the Biden family headed to the Air Guard Base in New Castle on Friday afternoon, and they will spend the evening at home near Greenville before the president heads to the West Coast.
…Flight restrictions are in place in northern Delaware and surrounding areas through Saturday.
Biden is expected to meet with Black entertainment leaders in Los Angeles during the weekend trip. Polls have indicated less enthusiasm for Biden within communities of color.
