Harvard has been hemorrhaging financial support since October, when students at the Ivy League university began demonstrations on campus in support of Hamas.
A billionaire donor recently explained why he is no longer supporting the foundation, calling on the school to adopt DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) policies.
To make matters worse, he described the students as whiny snowflakes.

Hedge fund billionaire Ken Griffin, who has donated more than $500 million to Harvard University over the years, has halted contributions to his alma mater and claimed that elite schools produce “whiny snowflakes.”
Griffin, one of the world's richest people, joins a growing list of donors to Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia and other top schools that have decided to close their checkbooks.
At a conference in Miami on Tuesday, Griffin expressed deep frustration with the state of American universities, including disastrous testimony before Congress by the presidents of Harvard, MIT and the University of Pennsylvania.
Griffin, founder of hedge fund Citadel, said he no longer supports Harvard financially but would like that to change.
“Until Harvard makes it absolutely clear that they will resume their role as… [educators of] “For young Americans, men and women, to be leaders, to be able to solve problems, to deal with difficult issues, I'm not interested in supporting the establishment,” Griffin told CNBC's Leslie Baker during the MFA Network conference in Miami.
