When it comes to inflation and prices, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is singing a very different tune than her boss, Joe Biden.
During a recent appearance on ABC News, when asked about prices returning to pre-pandemic levels, Yellen said that “most Americans know” that prices will not go down again.
This is not what Joe Biden is saying at all. Biden recently bragged about how much prices for various goods have fallen, then criticized “greedy corporations” for prices that haven't dropped. He watches:

Yellen's message is completely different. From Red State:
Biden tries to sell us this fantasy about how much he's doing to change what he broke, and no one believes him because they don't even understand the problem. Or he does and just wants to spin us.
But now, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has thrown him under the bus with what she said about inflation. She was being interviewed on ABC when she was asked how she would convince people that prices might never go back to what they were before the pandemic. This is an astonishing statement, especially in light of what Biden continues to say now.
“Well, I think most Americans know that prices are unlikely to fall,” Yellen said. “The Fed's goal is not to try to push the price level back to where it was.”

Doesn't this even contradict Yellen's previous comments on this topic?
That's not what we were told though https://t.co/xQOp5Jmb4M

It's like they're making these things up as they go. barely.
