Initial reports indicate the fire gutted a building and several tanks on the Feather Crest Farms premises. Eyewitnesses reported that they heard a loud explosion before the fire broke out, indicating a possible cause, although officials have not yet confirmed this.
The authorities issued a strong warning to the public to avoid the area to ensure unhindered access for emergency vehicles. The size and intensity of the fire made the task difficult for firefighters who were working tirelessly to contain the flames.
