Mary Timoney has released a new song called “Summer,” taken from her upcoming album Tiger jaw. It follows previous entries “Domino” and “The Guest”. Listen to it below.
“I wanted it to be a guitar instrumental in the style of The Kinks, Jethro Tull or Elf and to have a guitar solo at the end,” Timoney said in a statement. “I'm excited to play this live. Betsy Wright from Ex Hex will be playing guitar, and I can't wait to play those double solos with her! I'll also be joining David Christian, Chad Molter, and Anna Wilson. They're all absolutely killer musicians.”
Tiger jaw It is scheduled to be released on February 23 via Merge.
