Rapper Snoop Dogg spoke out this week to say he has “nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump” despite publicly criticizing the former president on various occasions in recent years.
Snoop changes his mind about Trump
Snoop has mocked Trump's assassination in his music videos, asked people not to vote for him, and in the past called him a “racist clown president,” the Daily Mail reported. However, he appears to have changed his mind, now saying Trump did “great things” when he pardoned his friend Michael Harris from his prison sentence in 2021.
“Donald Trump? He's done nothing wrong with me,” Snoop told The Sunday Times. “He's just done great things for me. He pardoned Michael Harris. “So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.”
Back in 2021, Snoop praised Trump for the “fantastic job” he did “on his way out” after he pardoned cocaine dealer Michael “Harry O” Harris.
“This is a great job for the president and his team on their way out. They did some great work while they were there and they did some great work on their way out. Let them know I loved what they did,” Snoop said at the time. “It's amazing what a job can communicate.” God is actually to make people understand that there is a God.”

This was in stark contrast to comments Snoop has made about Trump and his supporters in the past. In 2019, he urged government employees not to vote for Trump because he “doesn't care about all of you.”
“Fuck him too, and fuck everyone with Donald Trump,” Snoop said. “I just want to say this quickly in terms of politics.”
He added: “All you members of the federal government who are not getting paid right now, there is no way in the world that you can vote for Donald Trump when he comes back.” “If you stupid mothers are going to vote for him, I'm telling you all early.”
In March 2017, Snoop mocked Trump's assassination in the music video for his album “Lavender.” The video ends with Snoop taking out a fake gun and pointing it at an orange-faced, clown-like figure of President Donald Trump.

“The Clown King” Trump
Later that year, Snoop posted a photo on Instagram that showed him standing over a dead body covered in an American flag. The body had a toe mark reading “Trump.”
“I feel like there's a lot of people making great records, having fun, and celebrating, but no one's dealing with the real issue with this fucking clown as a boss, and the person we're dealing with here, so I wanted to take some time to pause on… Record the party and create one of these records right now.”
We're happy to see that after so many years of being so radically anti-Trump, Snoop is finally coming out. Although liberals are no doubt outraged by Snoop's comments, we can only hope he sticks to his guns and officially endorses Trump in the presidential election this year!
