Ducks Ltd. released New single titled “Heavy Bag” from her upcoming album harm way – Will be released on February 9 via Carpark Records. It follows previous shows “Hollowed Out”, “The Main Thing” and “Train Full of Gasoline”. Check it out below, along with the band's upcoming tour dates.
“It's about despair and the way misery loves company,” vocalist Tom McGreevey said of the new song in a statement. “The way people, when they're in a bad place, try to undermine the people they're there with. To keep them and hold them there. It's an incredibly ugly motive, but it's one that, to be honest, I found myself sucking into in the past. “We tried to do something that didn't We've done this before musically, and we had to reverse a lot of our instincts in constructing the arrangement. But it seemed like what fit the song in the end. Maisie Stewart and Briar Darling ended up improvising a lot of string layers at the end which led to some really interesting results.
