Although her chance of beating former President Donald Trump in the Republican primary is virtually nil, neoconservative presidential candidate Nikki Haley has vowed to stay in the race at least until Super Tuesday.
Super Tuesday, when 16 states vote, will not come until March 5.
Hailey discussed her plan to refuse to leave during an interview with NBC Meet the press Sunday.
“Yes or no, are you in this race during the convention, after Super Tuesday? Yes or no?” asked NBC's Kristen Welker.
Haley has committed to staying in the race until Super Tuesday, but not necessarily until the convention.
“As long as I continue to grow in every state, I’m in this race,” Haley said.
“I have every intention of going to Super Tuesday,” she continued. “Going into Super Tuesday, we're just going to keep moving forward and see where this takes us. That's what we know we're going to do now. I'm taking it one country at a time. I'm not thinking too much about the future.”
Haley also criticized the Republican National Committee, asserting that it is “not” an honest broker in the primary race after Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel said she did not see herself defeating Trump.
