It is reported that Jay Leno's wife suffers from Alzheimer's disease, according to the same source. However, it is still unknown when Mavis was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. It is a progressive degenerative disease of the brain that leads to the death of nerve cells due to the accumulation of abnormal proteins.
Mavis Leno was born on September 5, 1946, and she is now 77 years old. According to sources like PEOPLE, after meeting Jay in the 1970s, Mavis married him in 1980, but the couple never had children.

She was later diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Jay Leno filed for guardianship on January 26. According to multiple reports, this diagnosis is,

A guardianship hearing is scheduled for April 9, 2024.
On the other hand, Jay Leno's representative did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment. Mavis Leno also did not say anything regarding the same.
