BTS's Jungkook received four important nominations in the current list of nominees. The full list of nominees for the annual Korea Music Awards (KMA) was revealed on the event's official portal today, January 26, 2024.
The show presents awards based on recommendations from the judges and honors both popular and underground artists from a range of genres.
BTS' Jungkook is another contender and is vying for awards in four different categories, including Song of the Year and Musician of the Year. Fans couldn't contain their joy and praised him as the “pride of Korea”, while BTS's global golden maknae received several nominations even though he was away from his military duties.
Rock group Silica Gel, girl group NewJeans, and Korean rapper Beenzino are among the few others who have made it big on the same list. The live broadcast of the 21st Korea Music Awards (KMA) event will be available on the PRIZM app starting February 29, 2024 at 8 PM KST.
