The term “pedium economy” is politically toxic. We've known this for months. The Biden White House has been running away from this term because they know it is a loser.
According to a new Rasmussen poll, the term is such a loser that voters believe it could actually help Trump win the election in November.
How is this ironic?
Washington Examiner report:
Voters: “The pedium economy” is a loser and will help Trump win
American voters view the White House's term “penned economy” negatively and believe that President Joe Biden's promotion of it will actually help former President Donald Trump win the fall elections.
This was a risky strategy from the start, as similar phrases like “Reaganomics” had been used against the sitting president, and the Biden team thought they could spin the term in a positive light. The president even said it could be replaced with the “American Dream.”
But in the latest Rasmussen Reports poll shared with Secrets Thursday morning, voters likely weren't buying Bidenomics.
By a 44%-26% margin, voters said the term would help Trump, not Biden, “win” the fall election. Most of the rest (23%) said it would not make a difference in the outcome.
Moreover, the term helped voters remember the economic boom when Trump was president.
Democrats had high hopes for this. Not anymore.

Is “environmental economics” a winner or loser in 2024?
By a large margin, more voters say “pedium economics” will help Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential campaign than think it will help Joe Biden win reelection.
