The University of Wisconsin Law School has a mandatory first-year class denouncing “whiteness” and saying that “colorblindness” is bad and racist.
He also knows that “there are no exceptional white people.”
And yes, I said: “mandatory.”

“There are no exceptional white people.”
It's a real class, but it's unbelievable – if “incredible” is still a thing that can be said about modern universities. Frankly, the longer America deals with this, the more believable it becomes.
The New York Post reported, “The racial reminder was given last week to enrollees who had completed their first semester of teaching at the prestigious Madison school directed by Dean Daniel Tokaji, and the students were given preparatory literature in advance to familiarize them with the necessities of the session.”
The story continued:
One section reminded white students that they benefit from racial oppression regardless of their reform efforts — and that “there are no exceptional white people.”
You may have attended several anti-racism workshops; “You may not scream racial epithets or discriminate against people of color, but you still enjoy privilege based on the color of your white skin,” the booklet asserts.
So what is it? Are white people unexceptional or privileged? Is it both?
A better question is: Would the university still hold the symposium if “white people” were replaced by any other group on God’s green earth?
Do the Chinese enjoy Chinese privilege? in China?
Sorry MLK, “color blindness” is now bad
The course also teaches us that “colorblindness”—a dream of Martin Luther King Jr.—is a tool of racism. Somehow.
“Color blindness denies the cultural values, norms, expectations, and life experiences of people of color,” the document states. “By saying we're not different, that you don't see color, you're also saying you don't see your whiteness. And that denies people of color's experience of racism and your experience of privilege.”
It is a ridiculous class that promotes ridiculous ideas about race and ethnicity. “Color” just means “not white.” But Tamils and sub-Saharan Africans are vastly different people, even if they are “coloured”.
Just like the Swedes and French, they are “white” but not the same at all. By categorizing people into “whites” and “coloureds,” they deny the vast cultural differences between those groups in order to pit them against each other.
But if you're learning law at the University of Wisconsin, this is what you'll “learn” for all your hard-earned money.
It's time to support and share the sources you trust.
