    A system with light snow and intermittent freezing rain will taper off early this morning, but there are slick areas. Be careful! Intermittent and unstable rain today, with occasional rain until the beginning of Friday, with moderate temperatures! A break Friday afternoon and Saturday before another system comes through Sunday with rain changing to ice and snow.

    Early this morning: Snow diminishes to snow showers and intermittent freezing rain. Coating to inch. Lows are in the low 30s.


    today: Slippery spots early! Intermittent freezing rain inland changing to intermittent normal rain by 9am. Occasional rain showers, peaking in the 30s to around 40s.

    tomorrow: Rainy and moderate. Rain tapers off briefly in the late afternoon with more rain falling at night. Highs in the 40s to near 50 degrees.

    Friday: Rain tapers off early and is mostly cloudy with highs in the 40s to around 50.

    Saturday: The sun is limited to clouds with highs in the 40s.

    Sunday: Rain develops into an sleet and snow mix across northern Connecticut, with cool, breezy breezes with highs in the 30s. Rain to snow statewide in the evening and night!

    Monday: Snow falling early. Clear, breezy and cool with highs in the early 30s then dropping into the 20s.

    Tuesday: Sun and clouds, highs in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
