Former President Donald Trump won a decisive victory in New Hampshire's Republican presidential primary on Tuesday, reaffirming his position as the party's front-runner and setting the stage for a potential showdown with Democratic President Joe Biden in the upcoming November election.
The result in New Hampshire represents a major blow to the campaign ambitions of Haley, who has invested heavily in the state. She emerged as Trump's only major challenger after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis dropped out of the race.
These results come despite Haley's intense efforts to influence the independent voter base in New Hampshire and even Democrats to her side, with the aim of challenging Trump's stronghold in the Republican Party.
According to an MSNBC, New Hampshire poll, a majority of voters in tonight's GOP primary are not Republicans, with 53% of them identifying as Independents or Democrats.

He added: “It's absolutely ridiculous that Democrats and independents are allowed to vote in the GOP primaries, especially since crooked Joe Biden has given up on New Hampshire – but the rumor is we're doing really well!!!” Trump wrote earlier.
Following the initial results, Trump took to Truth Social to comment on his victory.
“Awesome! We're doing really well even though all the Biden votes went to Haley!!!”
Trump continued to criticize Haley, highlighting her failure to meet her expectations in the primaries.
“Haley said she should win in New Hampshire. She didn't!!!” he wrote, followed by “FAKE!!!”
His statements did not end there, as he added: “She came in the third week last week!”
In another jab, Trump declared that she “just lost Nevada, and it's going to happen next!”
Trump also posted these photos on the Truth Social website.
Trump's victory in New Hampshire strengthens his momentum as the Republican Party's nominee.
