Arab Strap has announced a new LP titled I'm totally fine with that 👍don't care anymore 👍 (Yes, with emojis). Follow up until 2021 As darkness falls It will be released on May 10 via Rock Action. To celebrate the announcement, they shared a video for the title track, “Bliss.” Check it out and find the album artwork and tracklist below.
Speaking about the song “Bliss”, vocalist Aidan Moffat said in a statement: “It's about women being terrorized online; it's about cowardice and bigotry. It's about how we expose ourselves on social media platforms while hiding alone at home. But you can dance to it too!”
The new LP was written and performed by Moffat and Malcolm Middleton, with assistance from long-time collaborator Paul Savage. It's an album full of “quiet rage”, according to Moffat, channeling anger and love into “the tangible world and the intangible world, whichever you choose to believe in and deal with”.
