'She said yes'
Scott, 58, brought his girlfriend Mindy Noce to the stage on November 8 for the third Republican presidential primary debate.
The senator announced his engagement on Sunday in a short and sweet social media post that showed the moment he proposed to her on the beach of Kiawah Island in South Carolina.
Noss, an interior designer, made Scott's day.
“She said yes,” Scott tweeted. “Mindy, thank you for making me the happiest man in the world.”
Scott also included Proverbs 18:22 from the Bible, “Whoever finds a wife finds good and obtains favor from the Lord.”

Noss, 47, is a mother of three who lives in Charleston, South Carolina.
“She works as an interior designer for Charleston-based Lowcountry real estate firm Atlantic Properties, according to her company's online bio,” the New York Post reported. Noce, an avid runner and tennis enthusiast, describes himself as “mobile, with a creative eye, and a love for people.”
The story continued:
Noss attended the College of Charleston where she majored in health sciences, her company bio says.
She has lived in Charleston since graduating but was first introduced to the area while watching her three older brothers play soccer at The Citadel.
Noss has divided her time between the coastal Isle of Palms and Daniel Island in Charleston for nearly 20 years.
The newspaper added: “Scott had previously described her as a beautiful Christian girl.”
