Adam Kinzinger, the former Republican congressman who was unwittingly transformed into the Democratic Party's dancing monkey, is many things. Bright is not one of them.
So, when he issued an ad urging voters in New Hampshire to prevent Donald Trump from winning the Republican primary there, we're sure he thought he was helping the only candidate with a glimmer of hope of doing so — Nikki Haley.
Instead, Haley had to watch this great lesson in her book “How Not to Inspire Voters” in absolute horror.
Kinzinger released an ad complete with a zip-up turtleneck and a fake New Hampshire background — allegedly — imploring Republicans and independents to send “Trump to defeat.”
“Is there anything that makes you smile bigger than sending Trump to defeat?” He said with all the feeling of Stuart Smalley's assurance. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Your vote in the primary matters more than ever. Imagine his orange face turning bright red when he realizes he won't even make it to the general election.”
There is a bright future ahead of us, New Hampshire! It's time to make history and turn Trump's orange face red in the Republican primaries. Your vote is powerful – it's our chance to switch channels after 8 years of a dangerous, weak, whiny Trump show. #StopTrump #NHPrimary pic.twitter.com/VDgjhrRDbx

Kinzinger's awkward effort
Is it any wonder how this guy went from being a congressman to a stand-in contributor at CNN who they call only when they explicitly need someone whose only goal in life is to defeat Donald Trump?
Nothing quite says “Come follow me, New Hampshire people!” Like a man clearly enjoying the comforts of indoor heating as he obscures the view of the snowy Granite State behind him with green screens.
What a rob!
As further proof that no one in New Hampshire took Kinzinger seriously, he had to write an op-ed column for the Portsmouth Herald, the 15th largest newspaper in the state with a circulation of less than 10,000.
“Three years ago, if you had told me that Donald Trump would be the front-runner in the Republican primary, I would not have believed you,” Kinzinger writes. “At the time, I might have been betting that Trump would either be locked in a prison cell or isolated at Mar-a-Lago, with the Republican Party decisively turning its back on him.”
Trump's fantasies in prison. Fantasies about Trump's orange face. Maybe Kinzinger should see Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's therapist, in a hurry.

The responses are brutal
We're sure there are plenty of people on Kinzinger's side, but few showed up in the responses to his new ad. In fact, most of those who responded were quite brutal in their mockery of the former congressman.
“You're not a member of Congress anymore,” one said Individual books. “You seem like a weak flamingo, though.”
I think I saw Feckless Flamingo opening for The Flaming Lips in 1992. Where does the time go?
“Way to hang in there and try to keep Adam relevant. No one listens to you,” added Sixpack, who describes himself as a “politically incorrect conservative.”
“Why are you doing this to yourself?” He writes Mike Leach. “You know you'll be mocked in orbit. And you're still here.”
“Imagine thinking this would help Haley,” added Will Upton, junior editor at The National Pulse.
This is a claim that our fact-checkers here at The Policy Insider have already scrutinized and determined to be “mostly true.” This would have been 'just right', but they felt that would be an insult to the idiot.
Salty asked Texas: “How much money are you taking from Democrats?”
That's a good question considering that Kinzinger's Country First PAC raised more than $2.2 million during the 2024 election cycle and donated all of $5,000 of the maximum contribution limit to former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who had absolutely no chance of stopping… Trump.
Country First still has nearly $2 million on hand. It's as if they're saving the bulk of it for the general election rather than the primaries, which, you might think, if you're from a true Republican group that simply opposes Trump, would be your main focus.
they an act He spent over $445,000 on “strategy and research” and “media,” which eventually culminated in the ad you saw above. A refund may be in order.
When he's not making disgusting videos, Kinzinger has been acting out other ways to discredit his entire career, doing things like crying during committee hearings on January 6th, then selling signed copies of their final report online for just $100. Oh, and the whole CNN party he was hired for hours after his House career ended.
Kinzinger recently lost his mind when Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) suggested investigating the committee after footage emerged from the 2021 Capitol riot that contradicted their account.
Several clips showed Capitol Police clearing the way for those walking through the halls of the site where the congressman and his fellow Democrats assert an “insurrection” has taken place.
Kinzinger responded by saying Those who doubt The committee is a “zombie… for ugly orange fatso.”
Call Ocasio-Cortez, Adam. We are sure she will give you her therapist's number.
