Rick Harrison, the popular actor on the hit reality show “Pawn Stars,” faces a devastating personal tragedy.
TMZ reported that his son, Adam Harrison, died of an overdose.
The news was revealed on Friday, although details surrounding Adam's death remain unclear, including the time, location and substance.
In a statement to the media, Harrison's family expressed their deep sorrow and requested privacy as they deal with their grief.
“Our family is deeply saddened by Adam’s passing. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss.”
The Las Vegas Metro Police Department is reportedly investigating the circumstances surrounding Adam's unfortunate death. Details surrounding his death are still being kept secret, and no official information has been revealed yet.
Unlike his family, who gained significant public attention due to their involvement in the film “Pawn Stars,” Adam Harrison lived a relatively private life.

Adam is one of Rick's three children — all boys — and has been mostly under the radar as far as Rick's show and shop are concerned. The news is… Adam helped out at the world famous gold and silver pawn shop once upon a time – but has since stepped away to do his own thing.
He doesn't appear to have appeared in any of the episodes from what we can see.
Rick had two children with his first wife, Kim… Korean And Adam, who also had a son, Jake, With his second wife Tracy.
While Rick's eldest son, Corey, is heavily involved in “Pawn Stars,” making his reality show debut in 2009, Adam has mostly stayed out of the spotlight.
Since Adam was never on the show, there's not much information about him… although some people have claimed that he made his living as a plumber. We've heard he was working professionally in some type of trade, but there's no information on what type of job specifically.
