HD Hyundai XiteSolution announced on January 11 (local time) that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with CNH, a global leader in agricultural and construction machinery, at the CES 2024 event in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the United States. The MoU focuses on establishing a joint research center in North America and enhancing future technological cooperation.
During the signing ceremony that day, HD Hyundai XiteSolution President Cho Young-cheol and CNH Construction Department Head Stefano Pampalone signed the agreement. Through the agreement, the two companies will establish a joint research center tentatively called the “CE Innovation Lab” in North America by the first half of this year. The center will include research teams from both companies specialized in developing smart equipment and digital solutions. They aim to jointly lead the market by conducting collaborative research on future technology exploration and development strategies.
In the future, the two companies plan to expand their cooperation through the joint research center by jointly investing in startups related to future technologies such as artificial intelligence and autonomous systems. In addition, they aim to exchange digital innovation techniques that each company possesses and apply them to their own products.
