Popular podcast host Joe Rogan slammed Pete Buttigieg after the transport secretary complained there were too many white people working in the construction industry, suggesting that diversity hiring could lead to “disasters”.
Buttigieg last week focused on alleged racial inequality on construction sites during an appearance at the National League of Counties conference.
“We’ve heard a lot of stories from past generations of infrastructure where you’ve got a neighborhood, often a colorful neighborhood that finally sees the project come to them,” he explained.
“But everyone in the hard hats on this project looks like, you know, — doing well-paying jobs — they don’t look like they came from anywhere near the neighborhood,” Buttigieg confirmed.

Joe Rogan blasts Buttigieg over racially charged comments
Joe Rogan responded to Buttigieg’s comments and focused on this month’s train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, an environmental disaster that released toxic chemicals into the air, on the land, and in that community’s water.
“Do you know it [Buttigieg] He gave a speech that day about how many white people work on construction sites? Rogan asked guest Bridget Vitassi.

“As these construction sites are being created in these communities, people in the community can benefit from it.”
Buttigieg’s comment, Rogan said, “shows a profound lack of understanding of skilled labor.”
“Like, you have to hire people who are really good at it, and if they’re not in that community, you have to hire them from outside of that community,” he explained.
“That’s why these unions are important, and that’s why it’s important to look if you see what happens when you have unskilled labor and unskilled people working on buildings, you have bad disasters.”

Rogan went on to describe the Ohio train derailment as a “fiasco” for the Department of Transportation.
Buttigieg’s response – or lack of response – has led to criticism on the website Both sides From the political corridor and calls for his resignation.
The Minister of Transport was ridiculed not only for the comments about the white construction workers themselves, but the fact that he ignored a train derailment during the same appearance.

The Daily Mail reported that Buttigieg “took ten days to say anything in response to the incident and even after that seemed to shift some of the blame onto the Trump administration.”
When he finally spoke out about the toxic train exit, his words made things infinitely worse. Here he downplays it as just one of his many aberrations.
Buttigieg: “Although this terrible situation has received a great deal of attention, there are approximately 1,000 cases a year of a train derailing.”

If you need proof of Rogan’s claim that assorted appointments can lead to “absurd disasters,” one need only look to Pete Buttigieg, a man who was specially hired into a role in which he had no experience or knowledge, based on his sexual orientation.
He’s one of Biden’s many diverse administrative staff, and he’s been an absolute disaster.
