Rep. Adam Schiff has a new plan to save “democracy” by eliminating the filibuster, getting rid of the Electoral College and packing the US Supreme Court.
At this point, it's pretty clear that when Democrats talk about “democracy,” they really mean whatever the far left likes.
Schiff trying to present this as a defense of democracy is very funny and he's the only one who doesn't get the joke.
For the first time in generations, our rights and freedoms are declining, not expanding.
Voters feel that democracy is in danger – and they are right.
That's why I'm launching the Defense of Democracy Agenda. To protect our democracy and make sure it works for all of us. https://t.co/uHSn42olc5

In fact, Politico takes this very seriously:
Schiff would eliminate the filibuster, ending the Electoral College in his pro-democracy plan
Adam Schiff, California Senate candidate and congressman, calls for a comprehensive overhaul of American institutions, including eliminating the Electoral College, expanding the Supreme Court, and eliminating the filibuster.
The comprehensive policy bulletin, obtained exclusively by POLITICO, reinforces Schiff's central position in his Senate campaign as a defender of democracy, drawing on his prominent roles in the first impeachment of then-President Donald Trump and the Jan. 6 congressional investigation. Attack on the Capitol.
Although many of the individual agenda items are not new proposals for Schiff, together they provide the fullest account of his vision for strengthening American democracy in the wake of Trump's norm-shattering influence. The package also sets a tone for the Los Angeles area representative's driving message as the race to replace the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein heads into a competitive primary on March 5.
“I believe our democracy is at greater risk now than ever before,” Schiff said in an interview. “It is clear that this issue will be front and center — and must be front and center — on the national stage.”
Do they even hear themselves?

Someone should get Rep. Schiff's book on basic American history and civics.
