Ohio 9th District congressional candidate J.R. Majewski spoke to The Gateway Pundit on Capitol Hill on Thursday about his uphill primary battle against the establishment and Kevin McCarthy-backed RINOs.
JR was in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, drumming up support for his campaign, which has already been endorsed by Defense Department Chief of Staff/Trump Deputy Director of National Intelligence Kash Patel, Trump Director of National Intelligence Rick Grenell, and Rep. Corey Mills (R). -Florida), Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.), Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), and now Rep. Eli Crane (R-Arizona):
“I'm proud to endorse JR. We need real fighters here in D.C. who understand the gravity of the situation and are willing to get uncomfortable to save our country,” Eli Crane, who has been endorsed by Trump, said in his endorsement posted Friday.

JR also has several other Republican endorsements for America First on the Hill, which will be announced soon.
That's why Kevin McCarthy and the D.C. establishment are fighting so hard to defeat Majewski in the primary. McCarthy is desperate to maintain his grip on power after his embarrassing removal as Speaker of the House and his humiliating premature exit from the morass.
As reported by The Gateway Pundit, Majewski's opponent, a former Ohio state representative who was endorsed by McCarthy. Craig Riddellwas caught as never supporting Trump, and later issued a dishonest statement endorsing President Trump while lying about his previous statements.
“I don't like the way he communicates…I don't like the way he calls people names,” Riedel said in a recorded phone call, a typical leftist and Reno spokesman. “I love Ron,” he added. Listen to the damning phone call here:

“The establishment is nominating anti-Trump candidates but they pretend otherwise,” Majewski told The Gateway Pundit.
Riedel, proven to be a liar, is now resorting to slanderous attacks against J.R., the only true America First candidate in the race.

After a massive smear campaign by left-wing media in 2022, the National Republican Congressional Committee “canceled nearly $1 million worth of ads promoting Mayevsky,” the Daily Caller reported. The RINOs hung Majewski out to dry in 2022, causing him to lose the general election.
The GOP nominee will likely face incumbent Democrat Marcy Kaptur, a 77-year-old politician first elected in 1983, who also happens to be the longest-serving congresswoman in history. “It's a dinosaur hunter operation,” Majewski said of his battle against the aging politicians he will face in the 2024 primary and general elections.

Konradson: I know you said McCarthy kind of interferes. I know he supports Craig Riddell, but talk about what kind of uphill battle you face in this primary to go after this 77-year-old Democrat.
Majewski: Well, you know, it's Operation Dinosaur Hunter. We have some fossil members of the organization that work on the Ohio Nine. They were all recruited by the institution. But, you know, I was the guy that the Ninth District chose to be their nominee in 2022, and I am the only American front-runner in this race, and the establishment truly fears what it cannot control. We see that manifested in my race most noticeably, and unfortunately, we see it across the country. But I'm very confident that we're going to win this primary. Donald Trump needs someone, and the members of Congress who stand up for the people need other people to join them in this fight to save the country and people who will stand firm and strong to ensure President Trump carries out his agenda.
Konradson: Talk about Marcy Kaptur. I think she's one of the longest-serving congresswomen in history. She's been there for 30 or 40 years… She talks about the importance of getting a younger, more vibrant, conservative candidate and flipping the seat from someone who – frankly, is 77 years old; Honestly, I don't know how long she can live, and she has no interest in the future. Talk about the importance of this.
Majewski: I believe Ohio's 9th District represents working class America. It's the area where we've built the Jeep since both world wars, and it deserves conservatives to be willing to defend it. And the demographics are changing, and people understand that Marcy Kaptur's legacy is to rebrand post offices and disparage veterans, and we'll prove that course. People adore me because I'm one of them, and that's the unfortunate reality we're dealing with. It's not just District 9. This is a phenomenon we are seeing across the country. Candidates are here because they were appointed, nepotism abounds, and we have to change it, and we will do so this cycle.
