Whoopi Goldberg, who has long been one of the most anti-Donald Trump people in mainstream media, bizarrely lashed out at the former president again on Tuesday morning, this time claiming that he will “disappear” journalists and “gays” if he is re-elected.
Goldberg's votes are down
“I'm here to say we have the right to lose. This is the country, and this is what it's all about. Either you want to work on forward thinking,” Goldberg said. “You want everyone to have the ability to express how they feel, or Whatever they want, go ahead, or don't. “Or do you want someone who says, 'I'm going to be a dictator on day one.'”
“Whoever tells you that is telling you: ‘I will put you away.’ She continued: ‘I will take all the journalists, I will take all the gays, I will move you around and disappear you.’” “If this is the country you want, you know who you will vote for. “If this is not the country you want, you have to make a decision.”
It came as the hosts of ABC's talk show “The View” discussed how young Democratic voters feel about their party. Earlier in the segment, liberal co-host Sunny Hostin claimed that “there is this stark divide among young voters on the war between Israel and Hamas,” and that “the voting bloc that really supported Biden in 2020 on climate change says the war in Gaza is an issue.” “Environmental justice, and they will abandon Biden because of it.”
Goldberg responded by bizarrely blaming “the media” for underestimating Biden’s supposed popularity, which currently stands at a very low 39%.
“Beware the media,” Goldberg warned. “This voting bloc has a lot of issues they want to address, they want to address them, and they have every right to ask that of whatever candidate that will be.”
“But I will say this until it's time to vote, be careful not to let the media tell us what we're doing. Only you know what you're doing,” Goldberg added. “You know what's bothering you, and you'll discuss it when you go and vote. Now, there are a lot of things we all wish the candidates would talk about, whether they're on the left or the right. “We hope they talk about what matters to us.”

Goldberg's previous anti-Trump statements
Goldberg enjoys ranting against Trump on a daily basis on “The View.” In November, she claimed America would get what it deserves if Trump was re-elected because it would mean “we weren't high enough.”
“Listen, if he gets re-elected, we deserve what we got,” Goldberg said, according to the Daily Mail. “If we get him back on the field, if he comes back, we deserve what we get.”
She added: “It meant that we were not high enough or strong enough or that our constitution was not strong enough to keep this absurdity out.”

Goldberg wants to amend the constitution
In June of last year, Goldberg called for adding an amendment to the Constitution that would prevent Trump from assuming the presidency in prison.
“What's really starting to scare me is the idea that we're not even discussing changing the Constitution to make it say you can't be in prison while you're president,” Goldberg said. “I'm a big fan of the amendments. I feel like unless we start plugging these holes, this is going to continue to bite us in the back. It's really going to take people saying, 'Hey, listen, if I can't vote when I get out of prison, why can you?' You become president.”
“I think the fact that we have this situation now, you know, who's there to tell us, 'Hey, you all have a problem' and those kinds of things are going to start coming out because these kinds of people, she continued, 'people who don't read the Constitution, who don't know The law, not knowing how this country is run, is now starting to come in. “The amendment will change the way we deal with people who come in this way.”
Goldberg can rant against Trump all she wants, but nothing she says will really affect his re-election chances, because anyone who really listens to her would never vote for him to begin with.
