During his town hall event on Fox News Wednesday night, Trump said that if re-elected, the United States would undertake the largest deportation effort in the country's history.
He described the numbers of people entering the country illegally under Biden as unsustainable and pointed to recent news from New York where students at a high school were displaced by illegal border crossers.
Illegal immigration was a major issue for Trump in 2016 and the problem will get worse in 2024.

'We have no choice': Trump pledges 'largest deportation effort' in US history if re-elected
Former President Donald Trump pledged during a Fox News town hall on Wednesday night to create “the largest deportation effort in the history of our country” if he is re-elected in November, saying “we have no other choice.”
Trump, the leading contender for the Republican nomination, said as many as 18 million people entered the country illegally during Democrat Joe Biden's presidency, a number he said was “unsustainable for our country.”
He added: “Many of these people come from prisons, many of these people come from mental institutions and mental institutions, and many of these people are terrorists.”

Trump is absolutely right when he says that the influx of illegal immigrants in recent years is unsustainable.
So-called sanctuary cities like New York and Chicago are currently learning this lesson the hard way. It has gotten to the point where some black voters have vowed to turn the city red in the next election.
