Fanny Willis with her alleged lover, Nathan Wade
Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has filed a criminal complaint against Fulton County District Attorney Fanny Willis for her “inappropriate” relationship with one of Trump’s top prosecutors she appointed to prosecute Trump.
As previously reported, Soros-funded Fulton County District Attorney Fanny Willis had an “inappropriate” romantic relationship with Nathan Wade, one of Trump’s top prosecutors in her office.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Fanny Willis “benefited financially” from her romance with Nathan Wade, the top prosecutor she hired to prosecute President Trump.
Nathan Wade was appointed as special prosecutor by Fannie Willis in November 2021.
In August, Fulton County District Attorney Fanny Willis indicted President Trump and 18 others on RICO and conspiracy charges for daring to challenge the 2020 election.
A Fulton County grand jury returned a 41-count indictment that included RICO and conspiracy charges against Trump.
The motion was filed in Fulton County Superior Court on behalf of defendant Michael Roman, a former Trump campaign official who was charged with Counts 1, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, and 19 in the Fannie Willis RICO case.
The motion seeks to dismiss charges against Michael Roman and exclude Fannie Willis, Nathan Wade and everyone in the DA's office from the RICO case against Trump.
The lawsuit alleges that Nathan Wade, the special prosecutor appointed to go after Trump, paid for luxury vacations he took with Fannie Willis to Napa Valley and a Caribbean cruise — and used money from Fulton County to pay for their out-of-town escape. .
“County records show that Wade, who played a prominent role in the election interference case, has collected approximately $654,000 in legal fees since January 2022. The District Attorney authorizes restitution.” The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
The motion claims that “sources close to both the special prosecutor and the prosecutor have confirmed that they have an ongoing personal relationship.”
The file asserts that Fanny Willis never obtained Wade's appointment as special prosecutor approved by the Fulton Board of Commissioners, which is required by law.
Marjorie Taylor Greene described Fanny Willis's relationship with Nathan Wade as an “unlawful conflict of interest.”
Rep. Greene's criminal referral has been sent to Georgia Governor Brian Kemp (R) and Attorney General Chris Carr.
