Lynks announces its first album Abomination – extreme abhorrence, abominable act, which is scheduled to arrive on April 12 via Heavenly. It will include previously revealed songs like “Sex With a Stranger,” “Use It or Lose It,” and “New Boyfriend,” and today they released a new song titled “CPR.” Check it out below.
“There's a temptation to diminish yourself and make yourself look helpless and weak in front of these people, so they can feel like they're a big strong man protecting you,” Lynx said of the new song in a statement. “CPR seemed like the perfect metaphor for that strange dynamic. The idea for CPR first came to me while doing a first aid course at my old job. I was holding my doll up to the middle of my chest, and suddenly the chorus came into my head to the rhythm of my hands on the doll.” I quickly ran to the toilet to make a voice note, then came back to save an imaginary life.
