Masked gunmen stormed a live television broadcaster in Ecuador.
Television footage broadcast live on Tuesday showed masked people inside the Ecuadorian TC TV station in Guayaquil, some of whom were seen waving guns.
They were seen asking employees to lie on the ground, while gunshots and screaming were heard in the background.
The incident comes amid the kidnapping of at least seven police officers and a series of explosions, a day after Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa declared a state of emergency.
