(WJW) – It's going to be a brisk day of weather.
Early morning snow will turn to widespread rain, and wind will be the big story today. We could see wind gusts up to 50 mph.
Many Northeast Ohio counties are under a wind advisory from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. These include Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake and Trumbull counties.
School closures and delays come to the FOX 8 Newsroom, and power outages are possible.

Thousands of people were affected by a power outage on Tuesday morning. The outages started after 9 a.m
More than 5,100 homes were without power in Cuyahoga County.
The right lane is blocked on I-90 East behind SR-11/Youngstown/Ashtabula, due to a crash.
State Route 8 reopened after the accident.
City of Hudson: All northbound lanes of SR 8 are closed due to an accident. Plan an alternative route.
The accident was reported on 71 North near the W. 130/Belaire exit
According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the left lane is closed on I-271 South Express behind US-322/Mayfield Rd, due to a crash.
Meteorologist Scott Sabol reported that wind speeds were beginning to pick up. We could see winds up to 50 mph today.
Cuyahoga County residents are experiencing some power outages. First Energy reports more than 2,000 customers are in the dark. The majority of these customers are North Royalton residents. Power is expected to be restored by 8 a.m., according to First Energy.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, a crash blocked the center lane on I-480 East at W 150th St/W 130th St.
A crash closed both left lanes on SR-8 North, just behind Seasons Road, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
