With 32 miles of white sand beaches, the Alabama coast is a great destination in a fair weather. However, almost every day it has a “opportunity to shower in the afternoon”, and although spring can be the best comprehensive weather, there can still be storms rolling from the Gulf.
We recently visited the beaches of the Gulf and Orange Beach on a four -day trip on the road, which started two days after the storms and disinfected them in two amazing two days. We have discovered a lot of fun things that we will not allow a little weather in our procession. In order to be clear, there is a big difference between the summer bath that wipes in an hour and a spring storm, but most things to do in the shores of the Gulf on a rainy day for any weather, even the most beautiful beach day.
Go out to eat
Alabama coast is really the point of dining lovers, and you can eat on any weather. Here are some of our favorites, without mentioning the yard seats overlooking water. Voyageers in Perdido Beach Resort is characterized by an authentic coast kitchen, but we fell in love with their delicious slices and were so strong that we have aggravated the Pyrene’s sauce. Bobby Piano Bar for living music is an ideal courtesy for a romantic evening abroad.

Coastal offers breakfast with a beach view where you can see surfing surfing surfing on the sidewalk from the huge windows. Cobalt is so delicious that you may forget that they are rainy. They are considered one of the 50 best burners in the state by Yelp and our favorite Berger in GULF Shores / Orange Beach.
This is only a few of the 200+ restaurant in the area to check or enjoy rain.
Enjoy nightlife
We have already mentioned two places for live music, but there is a lot. Flura Pama tops the list of the beaches of Alabama to the highest places for live music. We visited a rainy night and exploded. Both the stages of the interior and the tent were defeated. The playlist was familiar and enjoyable, but we especially liked musical acumen and sound quality.
Hanged
You don’t have to have a good weather to have fun. We stayed in many properties that made it difficult to leave even when the weather was perfect. Perdo Beach Resort It has a large inner swimming pool and a hot tub. The Club Club Club Place Place has a game area containing modern games, billiards and Bong Bong tables, and a set of table games. If you are looking to make room for all this delicious food, many resort style hotels feature a calorie burning exercise and mastery of your beach body.
Get a massage
We have imagined active adventures on the beach, but we are fortunate to massage in the spa and salon in Beach Club Resort & SPA, the full Gulf resort for service. The one -hour hot stone massage was solid, as we did not even realize that we did not realize that we were carrying. The health resort itself is a peaceful oasis, as it offers a full list of treatments from deep tissue to facial treatments, body wraps, and even the steam room if you feel lenient. Whether you are flying alone, with a partner, or in a smuggler with friends, this is the final reward on the day of rain.
Go to the sidewalk
Alabama beaches refer to retail treatment as one of its activities on a rainy day. They also propose museums, historical tours and art lessons. There is nothing wrong with that, but it is not us.
We are looking for more active adventures and adult fun, which Warf is abundant. We have found enjoyable times from Orange Beach to Whiskey to taste in The Kentuccy Mist Distillery and Bushwhackers to take advantage of the rooms, and this is not to mention delicious food, of course, live music. We have examined the new versions of the modern AMC cinema with 3D digital screens and Jumbo to see if anything caught our attention … but in the end, another Bushker was calling our name.
Play the little golf
We all remember to play a small golf game on vacation as children. Like video games, they got a lot of visually stimulating because we were young. Go to ride waves
The Gulf is famous for its pleasant waves, but Mike Tomburlo, also known as Tambo, the owner of Shack Tambo’s Surf Shack, says that there are browsing waves every week in the spring until summer. I am not sure of this or how to move in closing dual science when the waves end, but for this reason there are local experts.
We talked to Tambo Over Coffee (also runs a cafe in the store), and was full of information about Matthew, where and how to pick up waves on the Alabama coast safely and steadily. It can prepare you with a group if you like what you hear. Diving

If you are not dependent, the days of rain will save the perfect time for a certificate. You can take your courses inside, gathering lessons when the waves arrive, and the certificates cover when wiping the weather. We were surprised by the speed in which the Gulf calmed down after the weather.
Hold the height
My wife, Jin, and I don’t face long distances in the rain. But I write this piece, so I get its position. Know when and what you can put in spite of your wife’s objections is the secret of a happy marriage, Lol.
We love (love, love) cycling on the shores of the Gulf, but the self -spectrum and the tail of the rooster that soaks your back is not enjoyable. I am completely happy to switch to long distances in light rain, and in many ways, I prefer this weather on the incendiary sun. My rain coat enjoys countless UPF protection, wet sand is more than muddy; It is packed for better walking.
My favorite Hike Shores Hike- Pine Beach Trail- has even a tower watching birds at the end of Little Lagon where you can get out of the weather and pulse with a roof over your head.
Bushwhacker’s track hit
One of the corridors we can agree on is Alabama’s beaches on Bushwacker beaches. With more than 50 stations, we will have to deal with who will be the appointed driver or get a ride if we are making a day (or night) of it.
Instead, we took a more conservative approach. Go to the sidewalk and stop Bushwhackers in Sandshaker, Yo-Ho RUM, TacOS and Daiquiris Time. He went to live music in Flura-Bama and asked for a tour of the original Alabama source. Ask Vodka Bushwacker blond covered with voteka filled with vanilla in Avenue PUB, or ask for one to wash Burger in Cobalt. With a little moderation, you can get your Bushwacker and still enjoy the active beach holiday.
Visit Bamahinge
One of the strangest stations on the Bushwacker tour was Pirates Cove on the back side of Perdido Bay. It was not just a “cultural experience”, but it led us to Bamahinge, dinosaurs in the forest, and other statues made by the artist Mark Klein. It does not require Bushwackers or lightning storms that make the similar versions of Stonehenge and Dinosaurs interesting, but it does not hurt me.
