Hawaii is a dream destination for adventure seekers, but many travelers focus only on Ouo. Waikiki beach experience is beautiful but a little imagination with artificial white sandy beaches and cultural experiences that the owners of the mainland hotel imagine.

While OAHU has its share of distinctive tourist attractions, other Hawaiian islands offer incredible experiences that you will not want to miss. Whether you are exploring underwater worlds, walking long distances through hidden landscapes, or immersing yourself in local culture, there are countless ways to discover the Hawaiian wild team outside its most visited island. These are some of the best adventure things to do in Hawaii outside Ouo that we passed through a modern trip to the islands.

Maui's Mala Wharf is a diving and diving destination with a prosperous marine ecosystem. The sinking remains of the ancient platform were created artificial reefs, where sea turtles, tropical fish, and even coral tuned sharks gather. Dive here seems to have entered an underwater city full of life and history.

Although we were just washing, we were surrounded by weapons in Mala Wharf. We have seen turtles everywhere, and even a few curious swimming to say hello. You can see sharks to rest under the rubble if you are comfortable 15 feet.

Explore the National Historic Cross-Hekohau Park

History and nature are intertwined in Kaloko-Honokōhau's historic park on the big island. This sacred site offers a glimpse of ancient Hawaiian culture, with well -reserved fish fish, petroleum, and historical coastal paths. Walking in the garden is a time journey, and revealed how he lived early from Hawaii in harmony with the earth and the sea.

What we liked to spend a day in Kaluko-Honoko is that green sea turtles were everywhere. They were sacrificing the burial in shallow waters, taking a nap on the floor, and feeding on the grass bed outside. On any day that includes the culture of Hawaii and marine turtles is a good day for me.

In Maui, Mākena State Park (also known as Big Beach) offers some of the most amazing coasts on the island. With golden sand, turquoise water, and a dramatic background of volcanic configurations, it is an ideal place to equip the sun, bridges, or simply take raw beauty in Hawaii. The nearby small beach, which can be accessed via a short track, is famous for sunset gatherings.

We were in Mākena State Park and we noticed the beautiful beaches of the ocean. It was a glory in the morning, so the solar hooks were not yet on Little Beach, which may have been – Iykyk.

Hawaiian islands are full of volcanic landscapes, but some pits are still hidden jewels. The increases to the least well -known pits on the large island or Maui provides an opportunity to see exciting terrain without the crowds. These increases often take you through lush forests, previous lava compositions, and stunning views of the old volcanic activity.

We took the hidden hidden potholes from Hawaii Forest & Trail in KUNA. Our past guide took three closed gates and conducted pollution removal to prevent diseases from spreading to Lehua settlement trees. Our way made us ascend a thousand heads of heads until the relatively fresh lava flows before exploring the lava tube. We have gone through lush forests that have grown on historical flows on the road.

Kealakekua Bay is located in Big Island, one of the most amazing sites in Hawaii. Crystal water is filled with vibrant marine life, and the Gulf is historically important as a location as Captain James Cook died. This underwater paradise is ideal for discovering the flourishing colored fish and coral reefs and inspired the decrease in Disney's Finding Nemo.

We got to the Gulf on a diving tour on a boat and swimming in the shallow from the slope. The region has many natural springs in the ocean, creating huge gatherings of colored coral reef fish. Seeing our favorite fish was a free sea snake for swimming. After swimming, our guides told us in our experience how the slopes surrounding the Gulf were an old mausoleum with thousands of burial and a manifestation of the goddess of the volcano Pele. I have never been able to see Pele's hair flowing in lava layers, but stories and contacting my traditional hobby was great.

    Go on the dolphin tour

Seeing dolphins in the wild is a magic experience, but choosing an ethical tour that respects marine life is important. In places like the Great Island, moral trips organizers follow strict guidelines to monitor dolphins without disturbing them. Find the tours that avoid chasing or feeding dolphins and allowing confrontations of animal conditions instead.

We have seen many dolphins, but the best of our experience was when we were appointed outside Konna. Thirty Dolphin played to our ship at night and chased the needle fish in our lights. The crew was able to immerse the hydrovon until we heard their screams and gossip. The best dolphin show is to see it in its natural environment, nutrition, play, and dolphins only.

    Swimming with Manta rays

One of the most surreal underwater experiences in Hawaii is swimming with Manta rays at night. The Big Island is famous for this unique adventure, as it floats near the surface while Rays Giant Manta slides safely, and feeds on plankton. Ethical operators guarantee that these meetings are safe for both human beings and marine life, which makes them an inevitable experience for ocean lovers.

Unfortunately for us, we were crowning on our night with Mantas. We spent about an hour on the water to monitor the Mantas. The lights were lit, but no one returned home. We have heard that the more firmly the tour, the more likely Mantas will happen.

Go on the Hadba whale tour

In all winter, thousands of humpback whales migrate to Hawaiian waters, which makes watching an unforgettable whale. The largest concentrations in the Sea Sanctuary in the Hadba whale occur off Mao. Moy's small boat tours provides an intimate way to monitor these majestic creatures without disturbing them. Seeing a humpback breach or hearing their songs through hydrovon is an excitement once in a lifetime.

We spent several days on the Maritime Sanctuary on Thanksgiving Day, the beginning of the whale season. Although our Qabat said that most of the whales were still on the way, we went through multiple daily confrontations. It was the best competitive groups of young males who were showing their swimming skills to attract his companion.

    Tour in Part Advinol Park

For a pleasant and active way to explore Lānaʻi, try a tour of the electronic cycling at Lānaʻi Adventure Park. These tours accompanied by guides through rugged terrain, scenic students, and less well -known parts of the island. With an electric boost, you can cover more ground while still enjoying fresh air and scenic landscapes.

Lānaʻi is a sophisticated destination, with most guests remain in the four seasons. We have matching full electronic bikes with customers. They slipped without even the hills to amazing observation. It was not a very technical journey, but she deserved it for opinions alone.

Animal lovers should not miss the Lānaʻi cat reservation, a rescue of the rescued cats. This sanctuary allows the home of hundreds of two crosses for visitors to interact with friendly cats while identifying the saving efforts on the island. It stops intimate and comfortable in your adventure in Hawaii.

Although there are cats everywhere, the fresh air and fixed breeze kept everything clean and new. Also, these beloved creatures knew that the guests entered with a new bag of treatments, and many of them had strategies to display their attractiveness for a snack.

    Listen to the guilt

Music is deeply woven into the Hawaiian culture, and listening to the performance of the living guitar is a beautiful way to experience its rich traditions. Whether in a local café, a cultural center, or a seashore, the gentle tunes of the guitars will take you into a more simple and quieter mental state.

You don't need to find the best performers for a great experience. We have seen two shows of the guitar and enjoyed the stories and interacting the audience like music. Modern history in Hawaii is very beautiful with musical accompaniment.

Go on a waterfall and culture tour in the Halawa Valley

The Halawa Valley in Moloca is a fertile paradise full of waterfalls, ancient Hawaiian sites, and rich history. It provides a cultural tour directed to the traditions of the original Hawaiian care in the valley. Walking long distances across the valley, learn about its past, and cooling in the waterfall gathering makes a truly overwhelming experience.

The high culture of Haloa Valez claims to be the most cultural adventure in Molocay. Our mentors lived out of the network with traditional practices and direct grandchildren of families living in the valley for centuries. We know that this was the most authentic experience on a cruise from Kona to Molokai.

    Enjoy and Pa'ina Eid

Pā'ina is a traditional Hawaiian feast, similar to Luau but often more intimate and authentic. Local families and cultural centers host these gatherings, which include Hawaiian dishes such as Kalua Pig, Poi, Lomi Salmon and Haupia. It is not only about food – it is about society and communication that makes Hawaii very special.

Luau is HodgePodge from Polynesian songs, dances and food with some of the elements inspired by Hawaii. It was circulated by the OHau hotels, which was looking to entertain the guests. Patina was a special event where local elders told us stories about the family and Hawaii. Of course, there was also a guitar.

    Go in an unlimited adventure

For a unique way to explore multiple islands, consider an unwritten adventure. These small cruises focus on active exploration, sustainability, and indirect track experiences. You can dive in remote bays, kayak along the rugged coast, and visit the least well -known cultural sites, all with enjoyment of an intimate and friendly approach to the environment for travel.

We have done all these adventures and more on seven nights from Kona to Molokai. We love Uncruise because it is designed to get you out of the boat and exploration. The boat time was also nice, with gourmet meals, cocktails and night offers as part of their comprehensive prices. It is a great way to travel if you like originality and nature more than floating casinos.
