Fans are naturally hoping to see the greatest game of all time between Major League Baseball stars on Tuesday. But even if that doesn't happen, fans will be in for a treat for days to come.
Let's take a closer look at the 2024 MLB All-Star schedule so you know all the events you should be watching.

If you didn't already know, the 2024 MLB All-Star Game is Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers in Arlington, Texas. Globe Life Field only opened in 2020 and was used to host the NLCS and World Series that year amid the pandemic.
Naturally, this is the first time Globe Life Field has hosted an All-Star Game. It's also the first time the Rangers have hosted the festivities since 1995. Also worth noting is that since the Rangers are the current World Series champions, this will be the first time since 1934 that the previous year's World Series winner has hosted an All-Star Game.
All Star Game
The 2024 MLB All-Star Game is scheduled for Tuesday, July 16. It will start at 8:00 p.m. EST.
This year's game is the 94th edition of the Midsummer Classic and will feature a matchup between the American League All-Stars and the National League All-Stars.
Texas coach Bruce Bucci will manage the American League while Arizona coach Torey Lovullo will manage the National League.
Run home derby
With the exception of the All-Star Game itself, the Home Run Derby is always the most popular event of the week. And as always, the Home Run Derby takes place the night before the All-Star Game.
Last year's Home Run Derby will be tough to follow, as it was the greatest Home Run Derby ever, with Julio Rodriguez setting the single-inning record with 41 home runs, while Randy Arozarena hit the second-most home runs in a Derby ever.
This year's Home Run Derby will feature two-time winner Pete Alonso, as well as up-and-coming hitters like Alec Bohm, Gunnar Henderson, and Bobby Witt Jr.
Futures game
The MLB Futures Game has become one of the highlights of All-Star Week. This exhibition game features some of the best prospects in baseball, many of whom are expected to become MLB stars one day.
The Futures Game takes place at 4:10 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 13. The game will be immediately followed by the first-ever Futures Skills Show, giving candidates another opportunity to showcase their talent and potential.
MLB Project
With the Futures Game taking center stage during All-Star Week, MLB added the draft to the festivities to make the week as much about the future of the game as it is about the current stars.
This is the fourth year in a row that MLB has hosted the amateur draft in the middle of All-Star Week. Opening night of the draft is Sunday, July 14, at Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Most of the top players will be called on the first night, though the draft will continue Monday and Tuesday with 615 total picks across 20 rounds.

Last but not least, we can't forget the All-Star Celebrity Softball Game. This has become another All-Star Week tradition where two teams of celebrities compete in a friendly softball game.
Some celebrities take it seriously, while others look like they’ve never watched baseball. Either way, the celebrity baseball game is always fun for fans. This year’s game is scheduled for Saturday, July 13 at 8:45 p.m. EST.
