J&K (LG) Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday flagged off the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Pracheen Marg Chhari Yatra.
“The flag was hoisted for Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji Pracheen Marg Pavitra Chhari Yatra and also attended the auspicious Pratham Pooja and performed the ceremonies at the holy Kol Kandoli temple in Nagrota,” LG said.
More than ten million pilgrims visit it every year to offer rituals at the Mata Vaishno Devi Temple in Reasi district of Jammu province.
This is the holiest Hindu temple shrine in J&K.
