Dua Lipa shared a new song from her third album, Radical optimism. Following “Houdini” and “Training Season,” “Illusion” is accompanied by a music video directed by Tanu Muino filmed in Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc in Barcelona. Lipa co-wrote the song with Caroline Aileen, Danny L. Harley, Tobias Jesso Jr. and Kevin Parker, and Harley and Parker co-produced it. Watch and listen below.
“‘Illusion’ was the first song that Caroline, Danny, Tobias, and Kevin and I worked on together, and it really broke the record,” Lipa said in a press release. “It's about knowing what you're getting yourself into, but you've got to stay through hell. The joke's on them, it's fun to play someone at their own game because in the end you don't fall for the illusion.
