So when the Lakers unveiled a statue of the late great Kobe Bryant outside Crypto.com Arena in February, it wasn't long before auditors noticed some typos.
Beneath the 19-foot figure of Bryant triumphantly pointing to the sky — recreating a gesture he made in an 81-point performance against Toronto — is a replica of the game's box score. In it, the names of two other players were misspelled in addition to the word “decision.”

As of Tuesday, those errors had been corrected, according to KTLA-TV.
The team plans to create two more statues of Bryant, one with the No. 24 jersey he wore in the second half of his 20-year career, and another with his daughter Gianna, who was killed along with her father in a helicopter crash last January. 26, 2020.
