Drag has announced a new EP, In fact, the calm is beautiful, sharing the theme song “Orb weaver” with the news. After the Los Angeles band's debut in 2023 Dark Fire Heresy, arrives at the European Parliament on May 17, ahead of a series of supporting dates on Wednesday. It marks their first release on Julia's War, the Philadelphia-run label They Devour a Body of Water. Listen to “Orb weaver” below.
“Jess and I go for night walks in our neighborhood often, probably because there is no one around and we are obsessed with the eerie nostalgia of empty neighborhoods,” Adrian Acosta said in a statement. “One summer day, it was very difficult to walk without bumping into a large weaving web. I have an intense fear of spiders. I used night walking as a form of therapy but it left me in a state of fear instead and thinking dark thoughts.
